Healthcare workers in Santa Fe County, the first group that became eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, have had the largest percentage of people fully vaccinated: 45%, with 75% having had at least one shot.
The data comes from a new state website tracking vaccinations by phases; the data in this story comes from early afternoon on March 12; figures on the dashboard update as vaccinations progress.
For people 75 years and older, in Phase 1b, 58% are at least partially vaccinated; 23% fully. In total, close to 11,000 people in that age category in Santa Fe County have registered for the vaccine.
Among educators—who were prioritized last week by the health department—63.7% have had at least one shot and 14% are fully vaccinated.
