In honour of National Nursing Week, RBC has created free mental health support workshops and donated funds to support local nurses.
The virtual mental health workshops, run by experts from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), are in addition to a $120,000 donation from the RBC Foundation to 13 local hospital foundations to support education and training for nurses in Huron-Perth, Halton, Grey, Bruce, Guelph-Wellington, Oxford and Dufferin counties.

Clinton Public Hospital receives funding for nurses Back to video
The Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, part of the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance, received $5,000 as its portion of the gift, and will use the funds for a variety of training and educational activities for its nurses. In small rural hospitals, nurses need to be trained in many clinical areas.
