A Cleveland police supervisor faces discipline after being accused of a slew of misconduct following an internal affairs investigation, according to city records.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland police supervisor faces discipline for a range of issues, including conducting an unauthorized investigation into a deputy police chief, according to city records.
Lt. Joseph DiMuzio on Friday went in front of Cleveland Safety Director Karrie Howard on a slew of misconduct accusations. Howard has not yet made a decision on discipline.
DiMuzio faces 20 internal charges of policy violations, including an incident in which he launched an investigation — and filled out a criminal complaint form — naming Deputy Police Chief Wayne Drummond as a suspect in a crime.
