Special to The Courier
Lots of us enjoy revisiting our past. That became very apparent to me when I saw the large reader response to my column last week about losing a good friend and fellow musician that I met while a teenager in my hometown of Armington.
Many of those responses came from folks I have known from those good old days. It motivated my own memory chips to revisit those days of the Sixties when was walking down the oh-so-slow path into adulthood.
Many of those memories dealt with my 50th senior class reunion, held at The Outpost, a much too short-lived bar and restaurant in my hometown. We unofficially made up the last senior class to graduate from Hittle Township High School, which was destined to be part of the large Olympia school district.
