Janet (Kipphut) Ainsworth ’74, JD ’84, of Guilford, CT, is retiring from her job as a staff attorney for a Connecticut state agency after more than 30 years working. She is looking forward to more time for hiking, biking, skiing and advocating for conservation.

David Niesel of Georgetown, TX, recently retired after 37 years as a faculty member at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He retired as a professor of microbiology and immunology and senior vice president and dean of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He will continue his role as host, along with Dr. Norbert Herzog, professor, Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, of the award-winning Medical Discovery News weekly radio broadcast and newspaper column that presents advances in biomedical science research to the public.
