Claiborne man found dead in Kentucky

Bill Baker, Sr., age 85, of Harrogate, had been missing since Feb. 16.
He was last seen at Auto Zone in Middlesboro, Kentucky Feb. 24 by an employee.
Baker suffered from dementia.
According to a report from officials with the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, Bell County Rescue Squad and Kentucky State Police found Baker’s body Tuesday night in the Page Cutoff community after someone reported a body in the woods while looking for deer sheds.
When Bell County Coroner Jay Steele arrived at the scene, he positively identified Baker.
An autopsy has been ordered, but there is no known cause of death at this time.
