A 40-storey tower proposed for the edge of downtown’s Harris Park passed its first political hurdle Monday night with a decisive recommendation from city politicians.
Despite a string of speakers voicing public opposition to the commercial and residential tower that will incorporate three historic properties on London’s “Banker’s Row,” council’s planning committee endorsed the development with little debate.
