The property, located at 1500 Scribner NW, is a key in the development of the amphitheater. The 14.2 acre parcel, currently owned by Kent County, is home to the Kent County Road Commission.
The road commission is in the process of moving to a location on 4 Mile in Walker. That move made the property available for the City of Grand Rapids to purchase. The purchase price of that location will be just under $7.5 Million.
