City council to interview three for manager position

Members of Manistee City Council interviewed five candidates over two nights for the city manager position in mid-May. After voting not to approve a contract for a candidate last month, council will be interviewing three candidates during a special meeting on July 8. (File photo)
MANISTEE — After interviewing five candidates in May and previously offering the position to one, Manistee City Council will once again interview candidates for the city manager position.
During a special meeting starting at 6 p.m. on July 8 in council chambers at Manistee City Hall, Wayne L. Maybaugh, Marc A. Miller and William N. Gambill will be interviewed.
