Chunchaghatta Lake faces ecological crisis

Some locals have observed one or two dead fish in the lake. Although it cannot be attributed to a mass fish kill incident, it has raised some concerns. During the water quality check conducted by the Action Aid Association, the DO levels on January 9 were found to be about 2.97 mg/L. The ideal levels should typically range between 6.8-8.5 mg/L.
