You will be able to enjoy the Christmas lights in Riverside Park a little longer this year. The town’s decided to keep the lights on until March instead of the first week of January when they normally go off to give everyone a boost through the COVID-19 pandemic. Mayor Dave Plourde says the feedback on the lights has been overwhelming.
“I’ve heard from many many residents how beautiful the lights are in the park this year and many calls about the video that was streamed on Facebook indicating they loved the lights in the park. It really brings the spirit of Christmas to everybody who is going through something a little different this year.”
