Christmas arrives early for Central Mass. tree farms hit by burst of demand

Sales at Christmas tree farms in Central Massachusetts are booming.
“It’s one of the best years ever,” David Morin, owner of Arrowhead Acres in Uxbridge and spokesman for the Massachusetts Christmas Tree Association, said of Christmas tree sales so far for farms.
Morin could not think of another year in recent memory that had comparable sales. Morin’s own farm sold more trees on Thanksgiving weekend than it did for all last year’s holiday season.
