Two Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. This takes the tally of number of Naxalites killed this year to 118. The gunfight occurred during an anti-Naxal operation in a forest under Madded police station limits. Weapons were recovered from the spot. Previous encounters on May 23, May 10, and April 30 also resulting in casualties.
