Chinese visa applications for South Korea surge after Covid entry restrictions lifted

The number of Chinese applying to visit South Korea has more than doubled in the first week after Seoul resumed issuing short-term visas, signalling the end of a dispute over travel curbs between the two Asian neighbours.
