NSW has put out a public health alert identifying Chinderah truck stop at the Ampol service station (northbound), 112 Tweed Valley Way, near Murwillumbah turnoff as a COVID-19 exposure site.
NSW Health has been notified of the truck stop being attended by confirmed cases of COVID‑19 on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 July. The confirmed case is known to have used the truck drivers’ toilets, showers and lounge, and the food court according to NSW Health.
If you were at the truck stop on Tuesday 13 from 8.30pm to Wednesday 14 July at 7.30am you are considered a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days since their last day at the site, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.
