最高检：2013年1月以来起诉破坏环境资源犯罪超31万人-中新网

用公益诉讼来守护绿水青山成为中国公益诉讼的一个显著特色，一个公益保护的“中国方案”的制度价值充分展现，得到了国际社会的关注。2019年2月，最高检还部署沿海11个省区市检察机关开展“守护海洋”检察公益诉讼的专项监督，立案公益诉讼案件1773件，进一步筑牢了保护海洋生态环境和海洋资源的检察屏障。
