(KPL) Boasting a civilization spanning more than 5,000 years, China has a lot of cities which are more than a thousand years old. According to incomplete statistics, 30 cities in China were built over 2,000 years ago, and 142 cities in the country have been officially designated as national historical and cultural cities.

As the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, the economic and cultural centre in Asia has drawn worldwide attention because of its prosperity.
