China National Symphony Orchestra to present New Year's concert in Beijing

BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- The China National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO) will present a New Year's concert on Saturday at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.
The show will include baritone solos "Snow - to the Tune of Chin Yuan Chun" and "Ode to the Yellow River," orchestral pieces "On the Hopeful Field" and "Reba Dance," violin solos "Nostalgia" and "Golden Coil Base," among others.
The concert will be conducted by Tan Lihua, a renowned Chinese conductor, who has conducted several world-class orchestras, including the Russian National Orchestra. He has also worked in cooperation with over 30 symphony orchestras around the world.
