The assembly is set to draft a new rule book to pry power from the hands of the elite
Chile new Constitutional Assembly started work on Sunday, hoping to create a new constitution which would take some of the power from the elites and distribute it more equally throughout the society.
However, the swearing-in of the assembly was delayed for hours amid clashes between protesters and security forces near the location of the ceremony.
