Children's museum hopes to move into its building this month

FAIRMONT — After receiving official nonprofit status, plans are moving forward to create a children's museum in Marion County.
When complete, the museum would offer science, technology, engineering, arts and math education.
Frank Jarman, executive director of the Marion County Family Resource Network, said the Marion County Discovery Center has also appointed a board of directors and has found a potential location for the museum. Its administrators are still searching for a source to maintain funding for the project in preparation to buy a building to call home.
