Here is another story of heroes hiding in plain sight.
On Sunday at noon in the village of Sublette, Illinois, their local fire department was on a call when another call came in for a two-story house fire with a burn victim. While Sublette Fire Department and other fire crews were dispatched and on their way to the fire nearby neighbors saw a man who appeared to live at the residence sprinting out of the home with a child in hand. This is when these two neighbors kicked into "hero mode."
Sublette Fire Department reported, via Facebook, two neighbors noticed a small child in the window on the second floor of the home while a man was racing out of the house with a child in his arms. The men didn't hesitate. Without second-guessing the situation their mission was to save the child on the upper level.
