CHICO, Calif. - Two rival football teams are gearing up for their annual showdown, one that could easily not have happened.
A big football game between Pleasant Valley High School and Chico High School will take place on Friday.
"A year of waiting pretty much and now we get to play, so we are all happy, I mean a game is a game, we are just happy to get whatever we can right now," said Pleasant Valley's varsity football player, Isaiah Folger.
