CINNAMINSON, NJ — A high-profile restaurant chain looks to be setting up shop down the street from the new Lidl grocery store in Cinnaminson.
Cinnaminson has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Delco Development to build a Chick-fil-A on Route 130 South, township officials announced on Thursday.
The restaurant, one of the largest chicken restaurant chains in the country, will set up its Cinnaminson location between Lidl and The Shoppes at Cinnaminson.

"The Township is delighted to work with Delco Development on bringing Chick-fil-A to Cinnaminson Township," Cinnaminson Township Committee Member Ryan Horner said. "Our economic development team has been actively pursuing Chick-fil-A for some time, and we are fortunate to have found an outstanding partner in Delco Development so we can pursue this economic development initiative. Chick-fil-A is a popular choice for consumers and many residents have already expressed their excitement about the opportunity to have Chick-fil-A in our community. Although just in the initial phase, the Township Committee is committed to bringing this highly regarded fast-casual restaurant to our Route 130 business corridor in the near future."
