Chicago Fire Boss Confirms A Severide Detail For The Season 9 Finale

Chicago Fire returned for Season 9 despite unprecedented production challenges, but there's not a whole lot of Season 9 left before the show wraps the 2020-2021 TV season. The good news is that not only is the show guaranteed at least another two seasons, but
Fire showrunner Derek Haas (who has another show in the works) has already confirmed a finale detail for none other than Severide.
Derek Haas spoke with CinemaBlend earlier in 2021 about what to expect on the action side of
Chicago Fire Season 9, and he previewed that
Fire is "gonna have scuba Severide again this year." While that hasn't happened yet, Haas has now revealed to TVLine that scuba Severide will be returning "in the final episode of the season." The Season 9 finale will see Severide back in the wetsuit and scuba gear!
