ET made its way to Akabeda, where a police camp has recently been set up. It is not possible to go in a car beyond this point - you can opt for either a tractor or a bike or you trek on foot. A trek of about 2 km from Akabeda police camp brings you to a small clearing in the forest. About 35 temporary huts have been set up in Toyameta village. At the centre of the clearing, about 80 villagers have gathered and are raising slogans. They have been protesting since November 5 last year.
