Cheshire: Hoosac Valley names senior speakers

CHESHIRE — Hoosac Valley High School has named Sydni Jamros as valedictorian and Jessica Isbell as salutatorian for the Class of 2021. Commencement exercises will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 4, on the school's football field. Rain date is Saturday, June 5.
Jamros is the daughter of Joseph and Dawn Jamros of Adams. A member of the National Honor Society, she served as treasurer during her senior year. She has also been a member of the Leo Club, varsity soccer and Nordic skiing, and a member of the All-North and All-South soccer teams. 
Jamross has received Academic Excellence Awards in Honors Precalculus, Honors U.S. History, and Honors English-Language Arts I in addition to receiving the Cornell Sweatshirt Award. She has also interned at the Youth Center in Cheshire.
