Chesapeake set to renovate some public housing, add senior housing

The Peaceful Village and MacDonald Manor public housing communities in Chesapeake will receive interior renovations beginning next summer. The Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority also has plans to add 56 senior assisted living rentals at MacDonald Manor.
