Local developers Dan and Donna Cheresko razed a former law office on Main Street in Brighton a few years ago and built two new matching two-story brick retail, office and loft apartment buildings that have changed the face of the block.
Those buildings are nearly filled.
The structures — mirror images of each other — brought new real estate downtown, including a Buff City Soap "makery" shop, a potential restaurant space, two offices and four high-end loft apartments.
This week, local businessman Chris Klebba, who purchased one of the buildings from Cheresko last year, was getting ready to open Buff City Soap in a ground floor retail space.
