Living Rubble by Sarah Walker
With how chilly it was last week, it’s hard to believe we’re almost through with April. Here’s to the increasingly warmer spring temps—and these excellent events and attractions to go along with them.
“Selective Logic” Group Art Show in Newburgh | through May 23
Currently on view at Holland Tunnel Gallery in Newburgh is “Selective Logic,” an exhibition of works by Sarah Walker, Mark Gibian, and Joel Carreiro. The four artists’ work is varied but shares overlapping formal and thematic aspects, and includes paintings, sculptures, and mixed media. “Subjective logic,” say the show’s organizers, “is a type of probabilistic logic that explicitly takes epistemic uncertainty and source trust into account.” For gallery hours and more information, see the gallery’s website.
