The 46th Lakota Nation Invitational (LNI) is underway at the Monument, drawing over 3,000 students from South Dakota for a week-long event featuring competitions in sports, arts, and academics. Beyond traditional events like basketball and wrestling, this year's LNI introduces skateboarding. Alongside sports, LNI hosts academic competitions, including chess, a knowledge bowl, and a business plan competition.
