Monday, March 1, 2021
The man returns. After a year away, Chattanooga FC is pleased to announce the resigning of Brazilian forward Felipe Oliveira for the 2021 season. Oliveria featured prominently for Chattanooga FC from 2017 through 2019. This will be his first season as a professional.
“I’m so excited to be back!” said Felipe. “I’m extremely happy to be back where I belong! I hope to help the club in any way I can (hopefully with lots of goals) and I really can’t wait to play in front of the Chattahooligans again!”
Oliveira first joined Chattanooga FC at the age of 24 in 2017, and scored his first goal against Carolina United FC. Since then, he amassed 20 goals and 9 assists for the boys in blue. 2019 was his best season, where he led the team in scoring with 11 goals in all competitions. Before finding his home in Chattanooga, Felipe played for Technical Director Bill Elliott at University of West Florida, where he earned all GSC selection four times.
