Charleston chef Paul Smith wins Beard culinary award | Food & Dining

On his second try, Charleston chef Paul Smith won a prestigious James Beard culinary award on June 10, 2024. Smith, co-owner and executive chef of 1010 Bridge in South Hills, won the 2024 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast category at the annual awards ceremony Monday night, held at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
