Charges: Psychologist sexually assaulted 2 clients at Minnesota Sex Offender Program

A psychologist at the controversial Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) has been charged with sexually assaulting two clients she was treating.
The charges against Michelle Brownfield, 38, of Duluth, state she engaged in sexual intercourse and other sexual activities with the two men who were being treated at the MSOP Moose Lake facility in northern Minnesota between 2016 and 2018.
She has been charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, with a warrant issued for her arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, one of Brownfield's clients reported he had sex with her in rooms where she would perform psychological assessments, while the other client said they had sex with Brownfield in the facility's polygraph room.
