A public viewing and memorial service will be held this week for Chandler police Officer Christopher Farrar, who died after he was struck by a fleeing suspect's vehicle on April 29, police officials announced.
The viewing will be held on Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Compass Christian Church, at 1825 S. Alma School Road in Chandler, according to Chandler police.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at the same location at 9 a.m. and will be open to the public; however, space is limited. The service also will be streamed live on the Chandler Police Department's Facebook page.
