The victim had filed a complaint with the Sector-17 police station, alleging that the woman and her friends duped him. Probe revealed that it was not a woman but the accused, Puneet, had created a fake Facebook profile in the name of a woman to dupe people and another accused, Rajesh Kumar, went to collect money from the victim. Both the accused are residents of Haridwar.
