Chandigarh Powermen Union to stage protest against privatisation of electricity department

The protest was held on Thursday in Sector 43, where workers expressed their strong reservations about the privatisation move. The union will again go on strike for four days on February 1, 7, 23 and 24 against the privatisation of power distribution in the Union Territory (UT).
