Century City building on Milwaukee's north side lands growing business

A long underused building at Century City Business Park on Milwaukee's north side has landed another growing business.
Craft Beverage Warehouse LLC, a Milwaukee-based distributor of packaging materials to craft beverage makers, has signed a long-term lease for around 9,000 square feet at the Century City 1 building, 3945 N. 31st St., it was announced Tuesday.
The company was founded one year ago, as the COVID-19 pandemic forced beverage makers to shift quickly from draft and fountain systems, used in taverns and restaurants, to bottles and cans used for carryout sales.
That created a high demand for those materials — making it difficult for small and mid-sized beverage producers to buy them, said Kyle Stephens, Craft Beverage Warehouse co-founder.
