Centre grants year-long extention to DRDO chief Samir Kamat

A two-year extension was also granted to Dr. Satheesh Reddy, the DRDO chief who succeeded Kamat in 2018. Originally scheduled to retire in August 2020, he served in that capacity until August 2022, at which point he was named the Defence Minister's Scientific Advisor
