Celebrated Bar Star at Bar Iris In Russian Hill Falls From Roof To His Death

A promising career ended tragically Friday when 33-year-old bar manager Ilya Romanov fell from the rooftop garden of the Russian Hill establishments Nisei and Bar Iris, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
