The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission and TbayTel received $2.9 million as part of a $10.9 million provincial investment to bring high-speed internet to rural areas around Thunder Bay.

THUNDER BAY - Last week the provincial government announced more than $10 million in funding to bring high-speed internet to rural areas of Northwestern Ontario.
The Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission, in partnership with Tbaytel, applied for $2.9 million that will bring high-speed internet to rural areas of the city as part of the Thunder Bay Fibre to the Home project.
