Cedar Rapids OKs $17.5M proposal to demolish, redevelop Ambroz building

Developer Steve Emerson got the green light from the Cedar Rapids City Council to take ownership of the old Ambroz Recreation Center, demolish it and repurpose it into multifamily housing potentially leveraging federal disaster recovery funds.
