BELLINO IS ALIVE TODAY. I HAVE RELIEF. HERE WE GO IMMEDIATELY AFTER OFFICER. BRIAN EVANS PLAYS THE BABY FACE DOWN AND GENTLY SLAPPED HER BACK TO CLEAR HER AIRWAYS HIS PARTNER OFFICER ALEXIS DAY TOOK THE BABY TO CALM HER DOWN AND JUST SEEN A RELIEF MY MOM’S FACE AFTER THE BABY STARTED CRYING WAS PRICELESS TO ME EVANS HAD BEEN WITH THE ELSMERE POLICE DEPARTMENT. JUST EIGHT DAYS PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT ON APRIL 26TH. HE WAS A FIREFIGHTER FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HE SAID HE CALM AND HIS TRAINING KICKED IN YOU DON’T THINK ABOUT IT WHEN YOU GO THROUGH THE TRAINING EVER HAPPENED TO USE IT. BUT LUCKILY WHEN THE TIME CAME IT CAME RIGHT BACK TO ME AND WENT RIGHT INTO IT WITHOUT HESITATION THE BABY GIRL KAYLEE IS THE YOUNGEST OF FOUR GIRLS. HER FATHER SAYS HE’S GRATEFUL FOR THE OFFICERS TRAINING AND QUICK ACTION BECAUSE WITHOUT THEM HE COULD HAVE LOST HIS DAUGHTER. THE EXPERIENCE FOR THE OFFICER DID NOT EXPERIENCE. IT’S THEY MAKE THE DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU HAVE YOU KNOW WHY YOU DO? IT’S WHAT HAPPENED, SO I CAN’T BELIEVE LIKE I HAVE A BACK. I’M SURE THAT WAS JUST THE SWEETEST CRIME THAT MOM EVER HEARD FROM HER DAUGHTER OFFICER EVANS HAD JUST TRANSFERRED FROM THE LEXINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT.
