Phil Sardelis, the owner of Sardi's Catering, invited DailyMail.com into his kitchen at the company headquarters in College Park, Maryland 
Sardi's is contracted to supply meals for National Guard troops currently protecting the Capitol, where they were deployed after the January 6 riot 
Last week, at least 50 service members on deployment were reported to have become ill, with some even being hospitalized after consuming poorly prepared food supplied by Sardi's
