Catawba County Authorities Arrest Valdese Man On Felony Drug Charge

27-year-old Matthew Melton Mckenley of Hideaway Hill in Valdese was arrested Monday (May 10) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Mckenley was confined in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,000 bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled for June 1.
