A wager from a casino developer eying prime real estate in Sherwood Park just went bust.
During Tuesday’s May 4 regular council meeting, Ward 6 Coun. Linton Delainey attempted to get a question on the ballot this fall: are voters in favour of amending Bylaw 100-2001 to permit casinos within Strathcona County.
