QUEENSBURY - Warren County District Attorney Jason Carusone will seek re-election in November.
Carusone, who succeeded Kate Hogan, has worked in the District Attorney’s Office for more than 20 years. He has served as the county’s top prosecutor since June 2017.
“I grew up in Warren County and my wife and I are raising two wonderful children here,” said Carusone in a press release. “There is nothing more important to me than keeping our community of families, friends and neighbors safe.”
The Queensbury High School and SUNY Adirondack graduate began his prosecutorial career 21 years ago as an assistant district attorney. In 2005, he was promoted to first assistant district attorney and has been responsible for grand jury presentations, felony trials and arguing appeals in New York State Supreme Court. Carusone was elected as district attorney in November 2017.
