Carson City man jailed after admitting to stealing cash from employer to pay drug debt

A Carson City man faces felony embezzlement, burglary and forgery charges after admitting to stealing $700 from his employer and then cooking up a story about how he was robbed and abducted. He admitted to stealing the money to pay off a drug debt. Paul Joseph Bloomfield, 44, was arrested Sept. 13 in the 300 block of North Carson Street.
