Carlos Carrasco made his first Major League rehab start with Syracuse on Tuesday night as the Syracuse Mets fell in the series opener to the Buffalo Bisons, 14-1, at Trenton Thunder Ballpark. Carrasco pitched one and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs, all via home runs, while walking three and striking out one.
Buffalo (39-25) struck first with a Kevin Smith solo home run off Carrasco in the bottom of the first inning to give the Bisons the early 1-0 lead.
