Carlisle health innovator set to address world leaders

A Carlisle man will address global leaders this week to talk about a Cumbrian scheme developed to improve people’s health and wellbeing.
Gareth Presch, founder and chief executive of the World Health Innovation Summit, member of Pope Francis Vatican COVID-19 Commission and founder of the Global Social Prescribing Alliance will attend the Global Solutions Summit in Berlin on Thursday.
The summit brings together top policymakers, business leaders and civil society representatives, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Italian Prime Minister and G20 President Mario Draghi; Antonio Guterres Secretary General, United Nations; Frans Timmermans Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, EU Commission; Olaf Scholz Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance, Germany and G20 Leaders.
