Carlisle College's Apprenticeship scheme is 'recognised nationally'

CARLISLE College has been nominated for an award in this year’s FE Week & AELP Apprenticeship Awards 2021.
The college has been shortlisted for the ‘Promoting Apprenticeships Campaign of the Year’ category in light of the success of its 100 in 100 campaign last year.
Th scheme set to minimise the impact of Covid-19 on students by helping to develop Apprenticeship placements, securing 100 Apprenticeship Opportunities in 100 Days, between July 1 and October 9 2020.
Carlisle College was selected out of 350 entries that applied to the categories, in a virtual event that was hosted by the comedian Rory Bremner earlier this month.
112 employer’s handed out 117 apprenticeships over the course of the scheme, which exceeded the college’s aim of 100 days.
